Parking Lot Equipment Pilot beginning in June at the 63rd Street Beach Lot and Diversey Driving Range

What is Happening: The Chicago Park District (CPkD) is piloting an improved parking payment system, Metropolis Vision, at the Lincoln Park: Diversey Driving Range and Jackson Park: 63rd Street Beach parking lots.

How it Works: Vision is a cutting-edge, proprietary revenue capture system that enables a checkout-free payment experience. Click this link for a Vision Demo.

Benefits: Benefits of the Vision system include…

• Streamlined experience. Once registered, Metropolis members just drive in and drive out from any Metropolis location; no need to pay upon entry or exit.
• Sign up is 4 easy steps, and does not require downloading an app, see below.
• The system will increase CPkD revenue by reducing parking scofflaws, improve security, and increase space availability for all park visitors.

Key Dates: Sometime in June
